Keep warm this winter with indoor snowball fighting in Seattle - Field Trip Friday

Multiple snowball fights are held daily inside the Ackerley Gallery at Pacific Science Center.

SEATTLE — Pacific Science Center is hosting multiple daily indoor snowball fights through the new year.

The bouts are held inside the Ackerley Gallery, where kids and adults can use boxes to build forts and throw soft, stuffed cotton snowballs at each other for 15-minute increments.

The "Snowballs" at Pacific Science Center's Holidays of Play

It’s part of Pacific Science Center's Holidays of Play activities – winter-themed games and shows, including a winterscape in the dinosaur exhibit and virtual reality snowball fights in the What Is Reality exhibit.

The snowball fights are held three times a day on weekdays and five times a day on weekends.

Families can celebrate their victories at the hot cocoa bar inside the café.

Holidays of Play runs through January 5.
