Patients battling cancer in Snohomish County will now have a new treatment facility much closer to home.
On Thursday night, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at EvergreenHealth Monroe to celebrate a new treatment center in partnership with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
The new facility means cancer patients won't have to travel so far for chemotherapy and other appointments during an already draining time for them.
