Report: Safeco, CenturyLink relatively safe to eat at compared to other venues

Safeco Field and CenturyLink Field don't have many high-levels violations when it comes to food safety, according to a report from ESPN.

Of 111 major sports venues across the country, Safeco and CenturyLink fields rank relatively well in terms of food safety ratings. 

A study by ESPN ranks Safeco Field 33rd and CenturyLink 52nd, based on a review of inspection reports between 2016 and 2017. 

ESPN reviewed 16,900 inspections that Types of food violations in these reports include food temperature, poor conditions for the food and bugs, among others. 

The venues with the highest violation rates were Spectrum Center; the now-defunct Palace of Auburn Hills; and American Airlines Center. 

Those with the lowest violation rates included NRG Stadium; State Farm Arena; and Oracle Arena. 

Of the 68 outlets inspected at CenturyLink Field, 22 were found to have high-level violations, according to ESPN's report. High-level violations per inspection were 0.29. 

At Safeco Field, high-level violations per inspection were a low 0.1. Of the 92 total outlets inspected, 20 had high-level violations at some point.
