In the past four years, 2,400 sailors have been discharged from the Navy, booted for failing to make weight. So the Navy is changing the way it does things, loosening its standards to allow sailors more leeway.

The Navy says it's a move that could save some careers. KING 5's Joyce Taylor goes to NAS Whidbey to find out what it takes to pass the fitness and "rope and choke" tests, and what the new rules will look like in 2016.
