LOS ANGELES — He's a huge star in a tiny role.
Paul Rudd returns as a size-shifting superhero in Ant-Man and the Wasp. He plays an ex-con who moonlights as a quantum crime fighter in a form-fitting super-suit.
Rudd says, "It's tight, but it's not too snug. And it requires at least two people to put it on."
Rudd's co-stars say he knows how to keep the mood light behind the scenes.
"It was all heart, it was all love, it was all fun," says Hannah John-Kamen, who plays a form-changing ethereal character known as Ghost.
Movie icon Michael Douglas says his Rudd is a practical joker behind the scenes, but he gets the job done. "An organized goofball," Douglas says. "A calculating goofball."
Douglas admires his colleague's ability to work off the cuff.
"He just always has the good ad-libs," he says. "I'm jealous."
For a quantum good time, check out Ant-Man and the Wasp.
