Police: Port Angeles triple homicide victims likely killed by someone they knew

Police called the deaths of three people found dead on a Port Angeles property this week “suspicious.”

The three bodies found at the scene of a triple homicide in Port Angeles all have gun wounds, according to investigators.

It appears the victims were killed by someone they knew, according to the Clallam County Sheriff's Office.

"At this time, the Clallam County Sheriff's Office does not believe the general public is in immediate danger, but we have few details in this investigation at this time."

Deputies found two bodies on Dec. 31 while doing a welfare check at a home in the 10 block of Bear Meadow Road. Family members had not heard from the home’s occupants since Christmas.

The Clallam County Sheriff's Office identified the first two bodies as Darrell Iverson, 57, and his son Jordan, 27.

Investigators found a third body on the property Tuesday. The sheriff's office has not released the name of the third victim, a 26-year-old female.

Deputies believe the last time people spoke with the Iversons was on Dec. 26.

The property is still being investigated.

The sheriff’s office is working with Port Angeles Police, Sequim Police, the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team, and the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab to investigate the deaths.
