LAKEWOOD -- Police are investigating a burglary at a Lakewood non-profit Friday night.

According to Angela Fish, the Executive Director of Exceptional Families Network, when a co-worker opened the center Saturday morning, she saw the door was open and the office was trashed.

Burglars stole office equipment including, printers, laptops, tablets, TV, DVD player, shredder and office supplies.

The grassroots organization works with families who have children with special needs.

It started as an Olympia-based online support group in 2004.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
