One teen was fatally shot, and two more were injured Wednesday night during a dispute in Kent near a Chevron and a McDonald's at 108th Ave SE and SE 240th St.

According to a police source, a 19-year-old man was shot dead; a 17-year-old boy was shot and injured, and another 17-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle.

Reports of a dispute and shots fired came in around 10 p.m. Police believe the gunshots struck two of the males, and in the chaos the third person was injured by a leaving vehicle.

Both injured people were transported by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. They are each in satisfactory condition.

Police believe the incident is specific to the individuals and detectives are accounting for indications of gang associations.

Police closed streets in the area in Kent overnight while police searched for suspects and processed the scene. Roads opened about 6 a.m.

King County Air Support said they were assisting Kent Police's search for suspects in the East Hill area. They were specifically searching for a blue Dodge Charger.

KING 5's Natalie Swaby and Liza Javier contributed to this report.
