Suspect may have robbed Everett store twice in 9 days, police say

Police said a clerk at an AMPM in Everett believes the same suspect may have robbed the store on Feb. 16 and Feb. 24.

EVERETT, Wash — Police are searching for a suspect who may have robbed an Everett convenience store twice in just over a week.

The most recent robbery happened around midnight on Feb. 24 at the AMPM store located on the 200 block of SE Everett Mall Way, according to Everett police.

The suspect was a masked male who fled southbound on foot, according to police. A K-9 search did not find the suspect.

Police said on Friday that the clerk working during the Feb. 24 robbery believes the suspect may be the same person who robbed the store on Feb. 16. The robbery on Feb. 16 took place around 11:35 p.m.

Everett police released new photos of the suspect on Friday.

Detectives said they are working with other jurisdictions to identify the suspect and determine if he is linked to other robberies in the Puget Sound region.
