SEATTLE — From working at the White House during the Clinton administration to focusing on U.S. Politics and the high-tech economy as a history professor at University of Washington, Dr. Margaret O'Mara is now sharing her up-close experience through her latest book, The Code: Silicon Valley and the Remaking of America.

The Code takes readers through the main players and stories behind the beginnings of the digital age, major influences, and how the early days of Silicon Valley have shaped today's digital landscape. She's got a perspective on how modern technology is continuing to shift and make its mark on our culture, politics, and economy.
