Now that spring has sprung in Western Washington, many of us are eager to find fun and safe ways to get back outdoors and soak up the sun. One classic option to hang with friends, family, romantic partners, or anyone else in your life is through picnics -- and one Seattle business wants to level up your picnic game.
It's called Picnic Party Seattle, and they're making all your perfect picnic party dreams come true. Created and operated by Hannah Fuchigami and her mom Melody, this pop-up service will set up a gorgeous picnic almost anywhere you want -- whether it be in your backyard or a local park.
"Getting to be a part of people celebrations, whether it's an anniversary or birthday or just date night, or you know, girls night out. It's really fun to be able to give people a fun experience," said Hannah.
The idea first came into fruition at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic last year. But after many successful picnic dates, proposals, birthdays, and more, it's safe to say this mother-daughter duo isn't ready to stop quite yet.
"I'm lucky that she said yes to some of my crazy ideas," said Hannah. "I think it's one of the things that I will always remember and cherish for my whole life is, is doing this together."
"It's great to see your little one growing into a real businesswoman," added Melody.
They're offering several different picnic packages for spring 2021, hosting anywhere between 2-12 people. Another perk? You don't have to worry about the clean-up!
