That dusty ceramic Christmas tree in your attic could be worth big money

Ceramic Christmas trees are making a comeback in online auctions, but time is running out to make an extra holiday buck.

If you could never bear to get rid of your old Christmas decorations, you may be holding on to a treasure trove worth big dollars if it includes these.

TODAY Home reports that ceramic Christmas trees that went out of style - supposedly - in the 80s are making a comeback in online market auction sites like eBay.

The site allegedly has the retro decorations going for prices anywhere from $79 to nearly $700. So, before everyone starts taking down their lights and festive ornaments for the year, you might want to get these little collectibles out of storage.

TODAY Home also reports the ones fetching the heftiest prices appear to be the ones that also play music - or ones that are extremely large or small.

These seasonal antiques could potentially earn a little extra holiday money if they're in decent shape - and the picture's decent. But time is running out since demand will likely go down when the holidays are over.
