SEATTLE — Transport yourself back in time, to a Victorian Village, to celebrate the Christmas holidays. A Victorian Country Christmas Festival kicks off December 4th through the 8th at the Washington State Fair & Events Center.
Shari Furnstahl, owner of the festival, joined Margaret to share a sampling of the beautiful one-of-a-kind and handmade gifts available for sale. Vendors are carefully curated from all over the country to sell at the show.
The festival has over 500 vendors, food, plus entertainment, a wine garden, Santa Tram rides and visits with the big guy himself!
This year marks the 32nd year for A Victorian Country Christmas Festival. One of the favorite traditions is the The Singing Nativity where over 100 cast members and dancers bring the story of Christmas to life.
Storefronts were created and sets were designed to give the Washington State Fair Events Center the look and feel of A Victorian Village in the late 1800’s. Three buildings were decorated top to bottom to give the feeling that you were walking down an old-fashioned street passing beautiful shops filled with hand crafted and one of a kind gift items.
