These inspirational acts of kindness by Washingtonians will give your heart a pick-me-up

SEATTLE — As the restrictions around this pandemic sink in, it's important to note how we're responding to help one another. We thought you would enjoy this roundup of local good news stories. 

  • Woodinville neighbors organized a car parade birthday for retired registered nurse Pat Howell.
  • Homage Senior Services is the largest provider of services for older adults and people with disabilities in Snohomish County. If you are a senior in need of help, please reach out to them on their website: homage.org/i-need-help.  They want to hear from you!
  • Bellevue wellness company Trilogia donated thousands of respiratory masks to area hospitals with "Masks for Good."  They have a Go Fund Me page where you can donate to help their cause.
  • Seattle restaurant Nue is delivering meals to frontline healthcare workers.  You can donate to support their efforts: nueseattle.com/donate-a-meal
