The Challenger Division makes little league for everyone

The little league is for physically and intellectually disabled boys and girls ages 5-21.

SEATTLE — Every child should have the opportunity to play little league with their friends, and the Challenger Division is making that a reality.

The team is specifically geared toward players with intellectual and physical disabilities, providing them with a supportive community of coaches and players so that every child can experience the joy of being a part of a team.

Division Director Kirk Westrick and Challenger Division veteran Alex Timme join New Day Northwest to talk explain what the team is all about.
