SEATTLE — DANCE This, Seattle Theatre Group's signature dance program, has been uniting dancers and choreographers locally and across the country since 1998. Not only have they showcased seasoned talent from Seattle, Broadway, and Los Angeles, but they've also encouraged young dancers to strengthen their abilities and connect with other artists in order to grow. From ballet and tap to Filipino folk dances and Bhangra, DANCE This proves that dance is more than an artform or athletic feat, it's a way for communities and cultures to gracefully collide.

To share a number from their upcoming performance and discuss more about the program and their artistic process are choreographers and guest artists Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Derick Grant, joined by dancers from Northwest Tap Connection, Gotta Dance, and Alchemy Tap Project and Northwest Tap Connection and DANCE This alum Pamela Yasutake.

In celebration of their 20th year, DANCE This will be holding a public performance on Friday, July 13, 7:30 PM at The Paramount Theatre.
