Northwest Center is helping find meaningful jobs for disabled adults

For Down Syndrome Awareness month we discuss how disabled people are navigating their careers.

Seattle — Jonah Zeichner is an 18 year old senior at Roosevelt High School. He is also an avid volunteer at the Woodland Park Zoo and wants to be a zookeeper after he graduates. Jonah is just one example of adults with down syndrome who are pursuing their dream career. Many like him are well qualified and want meaningful jobs.

Northwest Center helps people with disabilities find the jobs they want. Tod Stewart from NWC is here discuss the importance of businesses being inclusive when hiring. We also had Jonah and Issana To from ZooCorps to talk about the program.
