SEATTLE — Lungwort is a spring perennial that's a favorite of King 5's resident gardener Ciscoe Morris. The plant was used to treat respiratory issues in medieval times, however, modern-day scientists revealed it doesn't cure anything at all. But if you're just looking for a hardy plant to last you throughout the spring, Lungwort is your best bet. The spring bloom also attracts hummingbirds returning from Mexico right to your yard. Ciscoe joins New Day Northwest to talk about the different types of Lungwort, and how to best take care of them throughout the season.
