Local organization devoted to helping youth gets a well-deserved surprise from Mike Rowe

Nationally known do-gooder Mike Rowe has been traveling the country with his newest show, Returning the Favor, surprising non-profits that need a helping hand. His latest target, an organization called The Trail Youth, helps support struggling teens and young adults in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Seattle — Mike Rowe is on a mission to travel across the country and help give back to organizations and people who have never hesitated to help those in need in their communities with his latest show, Returning the Favor, on Facebook Watch.

A local organization, The Trail Youth, which supports teens by connecting them with empowering resources and mentorship programs, was recently visited by Rowe and his team. Returning the Favor surprised the non-profit organization with financial assistance with their remodel project, bringing Kristen's dream of a coffee house to life in weeks, instead of a year, as originally anticipated.

Kristen Zuray, founder of The Trail Youth, and one of her partners, Tonya Guinn, shared more about their work and the tremendous surprise they received from Rowe and his team. Watch the entire episode here.

Support The Trail Youth by attending a comedy fundraiser on Wednesday, July 18th at Snoqualmie Valley Alliance (36017 SE Fish Hatchery Road, Fall City 98024). The show runs from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
