SEATTLE — In recent years beautiful chalk signs have been popping up everywhere, from restaurant menus, to corporate parties, to weddings and everything in between. The skill can seem impossible to replicate without years of practice. However, in-demand chalk artist Katie Bosseler, owner of Chalk Boss, has agreed to let the public in on some of her insider information about chalk lettering.

Although Bosseler is busy lettering signs for businesses all over Seattle, she still finds time to teach chalk lettering workshops to the masses that yearn to learn. Bosseler joins New Day Northwest to teach us how to make beautiful chalk art.

Catch the next Chalk Boss workshop, Champagne & Chalk Lettering, Friday, April 14, at Owl's Folly in Issaquah, 80 Front St. N., Suite #2. The event starts at 1 p.m. Tickets cost $100. To learn more about Bosseler's business and other events, head over to Chalk Boss' website.

Chalk Boss is part of 2019’s KING 5 Connected, the party with a purpose. Join us Tue. April 23, 5-9 PM, at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, for eats, entertainment, and inspiration. Tickets on sale now.
