Seattle — Kiki Ayers is no stranger to hard work and determination. Despite being homeless and living in a car with her mom, sister, and brother at just 16, she excelled in school, maintaining a high-grade point average and eventually graduating from Howard University.
However, after graduation and working for many major media companies, she found herself homeless again for over a year in Los Angeles. After a night of sleeping in a hotel lobby bathroom, she decided to start up her own PR company, Ayers Publicity. She discusses her hardships and triumphs during her journey from homeless to C.E.O.
Kiki is the keynote speaker at the Olympic College Diversity Conference this Thursday, June 21st. Tickets are still available.
