This instant barn can pop up almost anywhere

The building that's here today, gone tomorrow.
The Tentwood Barn can be assembled almost anywhere in as little as 12 hours.

MALTBY, Wash. — There's a timeless beauty to a classic barn. But this one is more timely than timeless. It wasn't here yesterday, and it'll be gone tomorrow.

"I grew up in the country so I really like that rustic look. It was a no-brainer to me to build a barn," said Kelsey Von Stubbe, creator of the Tentwood Barn.

Von Stubbe, a recent bride who'd been frustrated by her search for just the right shabby chic wedding venue, could relate to other couples looking for the perfect venue. So she invented one.

To bring a little "structure" to the wedding day, she spent a full year working with a team to engineer and construct this building.

"My big, giant barn baby," Von Stubbe said.

It's sturdy. But portable, like a tent. It can be transported to the perfect location and assembled in a single day.

Von Stubbe said, "That's the beauty of Tentwood. We can put it up just about anywhere."

Other special add-ons can include an outdoor chapel with a wedding arch.

"I like to work with the bride and figure out what their vision is and how we can help," Von Stubbe said.

Once inside, guests enjoy the charm of a country wedding with a touch of class. Paired with services from other vendors, Tentwood can turn almost any empty field into a party pasture.

Von Stubbe said, "You could have a little hoedown on the farm; everybody puts on their cowboy boots."

Now that she's built the perfect barn, Kelsey Von Stubbe has other dreams to fulfill.

"I think the next thing I want to build is a little white wedding chapel, with glass windows and with a little steeple on top. That's what I have my eye on for the next project. Sky's the limit."
