The call of the wild beckons in Eatonville

Northwest Trek offers a natural habitat for animals and humans. Northwest Trek won Best Wildlife Excursion in 2019's Best Northwest Escapes.

EATONVILLE, Wash. — From bison to slugs, Northwest Trek is home to more than 40 native species.

The park spans more than 700 acres. More than half of that space is occupied by a range of forest and fields, home to herds of Northwest hoofed animals. Among them: caribou, deer, and elk.

Guests can wander among the wildlife by boarding the Discovery Tram Tour, free with park admission, or go off-road and up-close on the Keeper Adventure Tour.

There's a children's area called Kid's Trek where young ones can follow their own animal instincts, and special habitats for grizzlies, wolves, and eagles.

Northwest Trek's mission is "conservation, education, and recreation." You can support all three by visiting for yourself.
