EVERETT, Wash. — Blink and you might miss it as you drive through Everett- but you definitely don't want to miss this place! Terracotta Red serves delicious Pan Asian food- and some incredible banana bread pudding, too.
Terracotta Red is housed in a historic Everett building, but their interior and dishes are anything but old school. The restaurant serves, as they call it, "modern Asian cooking"- twists on various dishes. Some of the most popular dishes are the fried shrimp wantons and the honey walnut prawns.
The restaurant features a monthly fresh sheet to highlight both the seasonal ingredients and their chef's creativity. For instance, because when crab is in season, the fried shrimp wantons become fried crab wantons.
The surprise on their menu is the banana bread pudding, served warm with ice cream heaped on top. It's not just delicious, but beautiful too. I mean, look at it!
