SEATTLE — Named after a dog, many locals call Shorty's a Seattle staple. But that means something different to everyone. For some, it's a punk rock bar to hang at after hours, while others see it as a great place to grab a bite to eat.

When you walk in, you'll notice a consistent colorful and circus-like theme. That's because it was based on Coney Island. Painted circus clowns and other art pieces on the walls are brought in by customers. You can also play on one of their 16 pinball machines!

As for drinks, Shorty's is most known for its boozy smoothies. Bartenders suggest not drinking more than two.

After being in the same location for 21 years, Shorty's will move this summer 2019 to a different spot in Belltown. They will stay open for business at their current address right up until moving.
