Shoreline, Wash. —

Darrell’s Tavern is a classic and popular dive bar north of Seattle on 180th and Aurora in the area of Shoreline.

This bar stays true to its original look from 1967. There's a very colorful red carpet on the walls, but not on the floors. There is lighting that looks like it came straight out of the Jetsons, historic news articles, a vintage Olympia Beer sign and even an old public phone.

The decor alone makes this unique bar a perfect place for cheap drinks (like $3 tall boys, $3 Rainier pitchers, and $4.50 well drinks.)

But when it comes to entertainment and music, they pretty much book it all: rock, punk, country, electronica, metal, soul, jazz, comedy acts and anything in between.

And if games are your deal, Darrell’s has a pool table, Pac-man arcades, and a pinball machine.

Darrell's Tavern is open every day from 4:00 p.m. till 2:00 a.m.
