Rhinos, owls and bears this summer at Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo rarin' to go for summer.

Rhinos rumble into town this weekend. For the first time, the rhinoceros unicornis be featured at Woodland Park Zoo. Assam Rhino Reserve opens Saturday.

And if you go for warm and fuzzy, the 4-month old sloth bear cubs are out and about. They are the only bear species that ride on mama bear's back...so watch for that.

Plus, the recently opened National Geographic Photo Ark exhibit is on display all over the park. 56 photos from renowned wildlife photographer Joel Sartore are large-scale selfie opportunities. The project aims to document every species living in the world's zoos and sanctuaries with intimate portraits. The show runs through October 7th.
