OLYMPIA, Wash. — Next time you take a drive to Olympia, make sure to stop at Ranch House BBQ and Steakhouse in Olympia. Your taste buds will thank you.
The family-run restaurant has won multiple awards, including 2018’s Best Roadside Eats in the Best NW Escapes viewers contest, thanks to their beloved barbeque.
“I’ve been very blessed,” said owner Amy Anderson. “I was one of the first women in barbeque with my mother. I love feeding people.”
And the people love her food!
At Ranch House BBQ and Steakhouse, they take their time and try to do it right. So, the meat you end up with is fresh and tender.
The meat is never rushed, so if you ask when it’s done, you’ll hear, “It’s done when it’s done.” But we promise it’s worth the wait.
For first-timers, Ranch House suggests the sample platter so you can taste a little bit of everything they offer from smoked chicken to beef brisket and pork rib tips.
Don’t forget to snap a pic with one of the 563 pigs around the restaurant.
