Seattle's 'pasta ninja' shares her tricks for making colorful edible art - Field Trip Friday

Linda Miller Nicholson is teaching pasta workshops for home cooks.

FALL CITY, Wash — Linda Miller Nicholson brings color to pasta-making inside her Fall City studio.

She first gained fame on Instagram as Salty Seattle, where she showcases handmade pasta in all colors of the rainbow, using only natural ingredients like herbs and vegetables.

Her book Pasta, Pretty Please details techniques and recipes for home cooks.

Now, she also teaches pasta-making workshops.

The four-hour intensive crash course includes the basics of dough, farfalle, and agnolotti-making, lunch and wine.

Miller Nicholson also offers private custom workshops.
