Homegrown acts Brandi Carlile & Death Cab for Cutie play multiple shows in Seattle - What's Up This Week

Bliss / Now - February 23 / 5th Avenue Theatre
It's a fractured fairytale created at the 5th. Bliss is an electrifying new musical that tears up the rules on happy endings. The show is going on now till Sunday at the 5th Avenue Theatre.

Science of Spirits / February 21 / Pacific Science Center
Take a sip for science. Science of Spirits is an after-hours event at the Pacific Science Center where you can enjoy spirit tasting with local distillers, plus check out exhibits like the planetarium and tropical butterfly house. the pouring happens this Saturday at the Pacific Science Center.

Death Cab for Cutie / February 24 – 26 / Showbox Sodo
Want to see a big band at a small club? Death Cab for Cutie is doing a three-night stint in Seattle to replace their September stormed out shows in Renton. The Bellingham band is playing the Showbox in Sodo February 24 through the 26.

Brandi Carlile / February 21 - 23 / Benaroya Hall

Another big local act is doing makeup shows as well. Brandi Carlile returns for three highly anticipated concerts with her hometown Seattle Symphony. The concerts happen this Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at Benaroya Hall.
