Thurs through Sat, 7/11 - 7/13, Timber! Outdoor Music Festival in Carnation, WA
Timber! Outdoor Music Festival includes bands like Thee Oh Sees, who have a new album out in August called Face Stabber. Timber! festival is hosted at a beautiful riverside park and also features artists like Mark Lanegan, Summer Cannibals and more. Tickets are still available for purchase.
Fri through Sun, 7/12 - 7/14, Ballard Seafoodfest
This festival is free and features bands like The Joy Formidable. This Welsh band's latest album, Aaarth, came out last year. The Seafoodfest also features great acts like Kyle Craft, The Moondoggies, Pick Wick and more on the streets of beautiful Ballard.
Fri through Sun, 7/12 - 7/14, West Seattle Summer Fest
If you find yourself on the other side of town from Ballard, check out West Seattle Summer Fest. This festival is free and features Jeremy Enigk who has been touring and playing songs from his band, Sunny Day Real Estate. Acts like The Grizzled Mighty, Polyrythmics and more will also be in West Seattle.
Sat, 7/13 at 6:00 PM, Beck and Cage The Elephant at The Gorge Amphitheatre
Beck will be playing with Cage The Elephant at The Gorge Amphitheatre this Saturday. They collaborated on their song, Night Running on Cage The Elephant's newest album, Social Cues. Beck also has a new album out called Hyperspace. The band Spoon is also joining Beck and Cage The Elephant on Saturday.
