Celebrate Seattle Pride Week at Capitol Hill's most colorful bar, Unicorn

Festive food and magical drinks are just part of the colorful experience at Unicorn. They also have lots of weekly events like Karaoke, Trivia, and Mimosas Cabaret, a drag brunch show.

Capitol Hill's Unicorn bar certainly lives up to it's magical name. Nearly every inch of the place is splashed with bright colors, art, and carnival flare.

Downstairs, in the sister bar Narwhal, there's a photo booth, arcade, and stage that's home to Mimosas Cabaret. There's even a claw machine that contains lots of NSFW prizes.

If you even needed another reason to celebrate Pride Week at Unicorn, the kitchen also serves up funky carnival food, that is surprisingly good (we tried the Narwhal Balls and Unicorn Dog). The drinks and jell-o shots are just as colorful as the decor.

Just in time for summer, Unicorn is starting up a new happy hour. At the beginning of July, you can get great deals on drinks and food each weekday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. But we are even more excited that there is more Unicorn magic to come. Sometime in early 2020, an even bigger, better, and more colorful (if that's even possible) Unicorn bar is set to open in White Center. It's the culmination of more than five years of collecting and painting by Unicorn founder, Adam Heimstadt.
