More than 30 artists got together - via Zoom of course - to make the Whatcom Arts Project.
Their real-life performance places have been empty since march.
So they're filling virtual spaces with their creativity.
Using Facebook and their website, anyone can take art classes, tour galleries, check out Western Washington University's outdoor sculptures, listen to musical performances from local artists, even experience some behind the scenes ghost stories - did you know Mount Baker Theatre is haunted by a panther?
If you are missing local travel, hop on the Whatcom Arts Project site and enjoy Bellingham artists doing what they do best - innovation, collaboration, and inspiration. It’s a great way to get a dose of the arts from one of the most creative communities in Washington, no matter where you are.
