I am extremely happy to be home, working as a reporter for KING 5 Mornings since June 2019!
I am originally from the Kent/Covington area, and I graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2015.
While I was in college I started working at KING 5 as a wide-eyed intern in 2014, working alongside amazing storytellers who made me fall in love with the industry and dream of the day I would receive my very own yellow jacket. I was an intern for KING 5 Mornings and Evening before landing my first job in Tri-Cities, Washington.
For two years I was a one-woman band reporter and anchor at KAPP-KVEW Local News in Kennewick, Washington.
I became a member of the TEGNA family in 2017 when I accepted a job at KREM 2 News in Spokane, Washington.
The opportunity to come tell the stories of the communities in Western Washington has brought me back home, and I am very excited to keep you informed about what is happening on KING and KONG during weekday mornings.
