It is so good to be home! I was born and raised in Seattle, and have dreamed of doing what I love in the place that is my home since I started my career as a journalist.
I found my love for journalism and media production at Ballard High School. That’s where I first learned to shoot, edit and tell stories. From Ballard, I went to The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University (go Cougs!).
My first job out of college didn’t take me too far away. I stayed near the Palouse and worked as a reporter and anchor for KLEW News in Lewiston, Idaho.
After my time in Idaho, I moved down south. I spent two years in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a morning reporter, host and traffic anchor for KATV News. In Little Rock I spent nine months creating an investigative podcast about a 15-year-old girl who disappeared from her home in a small Arkansas town.
I joined the KING 5 team in March 2020. I work as what they call in the business, a multi-skilled journalist, meaning I write, shoot and edit all my own work. You’ll catch me mainly in Snohomish County, which is perfect because my family moved out of the city when I was in college.
When I’m not at work I love hanging out with my family, my dog, Lando, and my cat, Luna. I am always taking escape room, podcast and gluten free restaurant recommendations!
