Holiday drinks to brighten up your holiday party

Katie from Henry's Tavern shows how to bring your party to the next level with a few holiday drinks.

The first on the holiday drink list is a Bourbon Cider.

Ingredients:

Ice

2 oz Old Forester

1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Sour

3/4 oz Maple Syrup

1 oz Apple Cider Juice

1/2 tsp Angostura Bitters

1 Cinnamon Stick

Methodology

Build drink in a pint glass. Pack with ice. Add all liquid ingredients,

shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

Raspberry Cream Truffle

Ingredients

Ice

1 oz Smirnoff Vodka

1/2 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

1/4 oz Chambord Liqueur

1/4 oz Raspberry Puree

1.5 tsp Chocolate Sauce

Whipping Cream

Fresh Raspberries

Methodology

Dip the rim of the glass into the chocolate sauce and pour 1 tsp. of

chocolate in the bottom of the glass. Reserve. Build the drink in a pint

glass, pack with ice, add the Godiva chocolate and simple syrup. Shake and

strain into the martini glass. Using the same ice, add the Chambord, cream

and shake vigorously to make frothy cream. Gently strain over the top of

the cocktail achieving a layer of cream over the drink. Garnish with the

raspberries.

Almond Joy

Ingredients

Ice

1 oz Smirnoff Vodka

1 oz Amaretto Liqueur

1/4 oz Chocolate Sauce

1/2 oz Chocolate Syrup

1 oz Half and Half Cream

1/2 oz Coconut Puree

1.5 tsp Shredded Coconut

Methodology

Rim martini glass with chocolate syrup and coat with coconut. Reserve.

Combine remaining ingredients and shake. Strain into coconut rimmed glass

and garnish with pinch of toasted coconut.

Peppermint Patty

Ingredients

Ice

1 oz Smirnoff Vodka

3/4 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

1/2 oz Kahlua Liqueur

1/2 oz Peppermint Schnapps Liqueur

1/4 tsp Bittersweet Chocolate

Fresh Mint

Methodology

Build in pint glass, pack with ice. Add the vodka, godiva chocolate liquor

and kahlua. Shake and pour into bucket. Rinse shaker and add second ice to

the pint glass followed by the cream and peppermint schnapps. Shake

vigorously to make frothy cream. Gently strain over the top of the

cocktail achieving layer of cream over the drink. Garnish with the shaved
