For more than 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of reporting on many of the top stories in our region. I cover the Seattle Police Department, crime, education, and the Affordable Care Act, and enjoy telling the personal stories of the people impacted by those issues.
I was honored to receive an Emmy for breaking news for Seattle’s Greenwood explosion and the award for Best Reporter by the Martin Luther King County Labor Council.
Born in Korea, I grew up in Ohio and the San Francisco Bay Area, where I attended University of California, Davis for my undergraduate degree and San Francisco State University for a Master's degree in Broadcast Communication Arts. I got my start as a cub reporter in Fresno, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Now I’m a proud West Seattleite. You'll often see me running along Alki, trying to keep up with my husband and our dog, or sitting in the rain at my son’s soccer game.
