He's been at the scene, covering the Boston Marathon bombings, and multiple natural disasters, including the Oso landslide, Washington wildfires, windstorms, and the 2004 eruptions of Mount St. Helens.
He's also traveled the world covering the nexus of sports and news.
Daniels lived in Russia, covering the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and did the same in Canada for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Daniels has also made his mark, and has been awarded for, his decade long coverage of the Seattle region's quest for a new sports arena, and NBA and NHL franchises.
While he's a self-described social media "evangelist", he's made appearances all over other forms of media.
His live and taped reports have appeared on other local and national broadcast outlets, including CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and NBC, and he's been a frequent guest and contributor in 950 KJR, 97.3 KIRO FM, 710 ESPN, and for radio stations across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
Daniels was born and raised in University Place. He attended Washington State University and is still a proud Cougar football and basketball fan.
Daniels lives in Seattle with his wife, daughter, and several pets.
