It appears Nippon Professional Baseball pitcher Yu Darvish will finally submit to the posting process, in order to play in America next season. The 25-year-old has been talked about for some time. In seven seasons in the NPB, Darvish's ERA sits at 1.99.
New Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine called him the one best pitchers in baseball. He says he's in the conversation for being in the top four in the world.
With all the young pitching the Mariners have in the minors, it's probably unlikely they'll make a bid for Darvish. The M's could use that money for hitting.
