There's nothing like green grass and sprinklers to usher in a new season. Our F5 Savannah Cat, Kali is part African Serval and we were able to catch her playing in the water as she sensed the world coming to life again after a long, grey, and dreary winter!
Another wonderful aspect to the changing of seasons to the warmer weather are all the wonderful weddings! My best friend asked me to photograph her outdoor wedding June 7th in Port Orchard. We all held our breath as we watched the rain start, stop, start, and stop again - a few lingering drops later at the end of the day, we finally got SUN and some wonderful photographs! It was a picture perfect June wedding!
Earlier this spring my friend invited me to shoot photos with her at Mukilteo Beach. I was shocked to realize after growing up in this area.... all these years later, I had NEVER been to Mukilteo Beach!! I'm not even sure how that can happen - I was thrilled at the beauty in my own 'backyard' !!! We had a great day taking TONS of photos. Really, there is nothing like discovering a gold mine right under your nose and right here in the Great Northwest!
