Shortly after 6:30 this morning a Kent school bus collided with a white mini van on Hwy 515 just North of S.E. 208th street. There were no students on the school bus and the driver was unharmed, however the driver of the mini van was transported to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Washington State Patrol and Kent School District Transportation Officials.
The accident, which occurred during the morning rush, caused a backup on Hwy 515 until WDOT and State Patrol cleared the scene shortly after 7:30.
