My wife and I were walking the beach with our good friends outside Olympia, and came across a number of oddities - two single shoes, half-full but unbroken water bottles and screw-top wine. As we approached Little Fishtrap, we saw a minivan down near the waterline, and a tow truck starting to hook up to pull the minivan up to the road. We speculated that some of the articles along the shoreline had come from the open doors of the minivan. We later connected our experience to the Smiley disappearance. We hope the story has a happy ending somewhere.
