Lindsey Moore, a Covington, WA/Kentwood HS graduate and Player of the Year in the 2008-9 HS basketball season goes on to help the #3 ranked Nebraska Women's Basketball team take the Big 12 Championship.
Moore, as a true freshman, has started every game for the Huskers and averages the most playing time of any Husker player. She is the 2nd leading player in the Big 12 conference in assists. She tied the school record for number of assists in a game early on in the season.
Just like last year, she has led her team through an undefeated championship season.
Moore will be heading into the NCAA tournament. To date, the Huskers are 27-0.
