Unique Wedding Venue- Restored from 1944

Couples who are tying the knot looking for a unique wedding venue now have a beautiful rustic barn to visit thanks to Tim Gellatly at Pine River Ranch. The historic Dairy Barn, built in 1944 located in Leavenworth, WA has been restored in all its rustic glory to hold events such as weddings, family reunions or business conventions.
For years the dairy barn has been neglected until Pine River Ranch owner Tim Gellatly made it his mission to restore the barn. Over the course of a year Tim completely renovated the barn to a functional events facility with new bathrooms, hard wood floors, ADA wheelchair ramps and more. “It is so beautiful, and I thought with a little paint and a lot of work I could turn this into a beautiful wedding venue,” Tim states. “I have the amazing outdoor scenery already covered, and the space the barn offered was so large it just made sense.
Searching for the perfect wedding location can be a daunting task, especially if your heart is set on an outdoor wedding or even more so a barn wedding. “The response to the renovation has been great, brides love the rustic feel and we can really dress up the barn, or dress it down for any couples liking.” Tim states. “We have had everything from hay bales and square dancing to ice sculptors and limo rides!”
The Dairy Barn was originally built in 1944 by the Mottler family and it was an automated barn, using milking machines instead of people. Most of the milk was delivered to local logging camps so logging crews could have fresh milk.
The renovated barn sits on 22 acres owned by Pine River Ranch which has been converted into a Bed and Breakfast. The land is still home to a corral, covered wagon and the Nason creek, but now holds weddings and events instead of milking machines and cows.
