Nov 16 Whidbey Island Wind storm Gust of 44mph sustained winds from south at 30mph. This is a trip through Joseph Whidbey state park, Rocky Point Road, the north side of the park. You can see even on the north side, sheltered from the southern wind, debris and down trees.

I grew up near here, so though it's not as significant an event as I thought, still nice to view. A few years ago I video'd a road around Clear Lake in N. Eatonville, - could barely navigate around all the downed trees, hit by a 'micro-burst'.

nw316, you are right not that big of an event especially since the winds were from the south. The worst winds generally come from the west since the island is not protected on the west side.
