The snow started coming down before 6 AM and it has been snowing ever since, current time 11:38 AM.
I saw that the shallow water close to shore had a white cast to it and joked about a "snow tide."
A little later my neighbors were back up the hill from their lower cliff and asked I had seen the snow on the water? I told them no but they confirmed from their lower elevation it was snow sticking on the water: something I have never seen anywhere in the Puget Sound area and I have here since 1964.
