A grey day, one of too many, calls for a breath of fresh air. I spotted a female bufflehead startled by something and got a shot of her in flight, and a disheartened seagull not into much activity in the cold. Half the lake has a coat of thin ice. I also saw a crow harassing some Widgeons who were eating grass. I've seen that before but can't figure out why the crows would be giving the widgeons a hard time.
