We all know it's been foggy for a few days.
I've been wondering who stole Everett.
I live on the west side of Downtown Everett, in the Bayview neighborhood, overlooking Puget Sound. Normally I can see the Port of Everett, the Navy shipyard and base, the former Kimberly-Clark property, Whidby Island, Hat Island, Camano Island and the Tulalip Reservation from my deck.
Right now, I can barely see across the street!
The mornings with this fog are chilly and icy. I walk a mile to my bus stop, and it's been challenging. Some parking lots in Downtown Everett have been so frosty they look like they're under a sheet of snow. The fog has muffled sounds so much that if the California sealions have been barking, it isn't reaching as far as usual.
Still, I'll take this over last year, where I was stranded at home for three days because of the snow.
