The freezing days of winter are an important time to help out the Anna's hummingbirds. Take care of their feeders by bringing them in at night and then putting them back out early in the morning. It's also a good time of the year to observe their territorial behavior. They don't have much else to do but watch over "their" feeder and guard it against interlopers.
