If it's January 12th and Saturday, AND the sun's out, get out and take some pictures at the Lake! There was lots of thin ice, but equal amounts of open water for lots of birds to cruise and dabble in :). It is amusing to watch ducks and seagulls slip and slide on the ice while the ice barely holds them up. Ice forms interesting patterns overnight as well.
